Acceptable Use Policy

ComputeNexa is in a closed beta. These documents apply to the beta and will be updated before general availability; we will tell you by email before any change that affects you takes effect.

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everything you do with ComputeNexa, including on the GPU machines you rent. Our infrastructure providers set similar rules, and we must enforce them.

You must not use ComputeNexa to

  • Break the law, or help anyone else do so.
  • Create, store or share child sexual abuse material, or any content that sexualises minors. We report it to the authorities.
  • Store or distribute content that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy, or that is defamatory, harassing or promotes violence.
  • Attack or probe other systems: port scanning, vulnerability scanning, denial-of-service, brute-forcing passwords, or breaking into accounts or networks you don't own or have written permission to test.
  • Create or spread malware, botnets, phishing or spam, or send bulk unsolicited messages.
  • Mine cryptocurrency or run proof-of-work or similar workloads.
  • Crack passwords or hashes, or break encryption, except on data you own.
  • Run open proxies, VPN exit nodes or anonymising services for others.
  • Develop weapons, or other activity that risks serious harm to people.
  • Use the Service in breach of export-control or sanctions laws, or from or for a sanctioned country, region or person.
  • Interfere with the Service: getting around usage limits or billing, accessing other customers' machines, tampering with our access gateway, or trying to reach our infrastructure providers' systems from your machine.
  • Resell or share access to the Service without our written agreement.

What happens if this policy is broken

We may stop the machines involved, suspend or close the account, remove content, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where reasonable we will contact you first, but we act immediately when there is a risk of harm, a legal requirement, or a complaint from an infrastructure provider.
