Privacy Policy
ComputeNexa is in a closed beta. These documents apply to the beta and will be updated before general availability; we will tell you by email before any change that affects you takes effect.
This policy explains what personal data ComputeNexa collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers computenexa.com, the dashboard at app.computenexa.com and the GPU machines you rent.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and sign-in records (through Clerk).
- Early-access form: your email and answers (how you use GPUs, which GPU, hours per month, what matters to you, any comments) and the link you came from.
- Payments: amounts, dates and a payment reference. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
- Usage: the machines you launch (GPU, image, model chosen, region, times, cost), your credit balance and history, and which GPUs you look at on the launch page together with the price shown.
- Projects: if you use a project, the files you keep in its folder (~/work) are stored between launches, including chats saved by Private Chat and models you download.
- SSH public keys you add, so you can log in to your machines.
- Saved tokens for Kaggle and Hugging Face, stored encrypted and copied onto your machines.
- Feedback you send, with the page you were on, your latest instance and your browser type.
- Technical data: IP addresses, browser type and request logs, used for security and to fix problems.
We don't look at the code, data, models, prompts or chats on your machines or in your projects, except to keep the Service secure or when the law requires it. Machine disks are deleted when the machine stops; project files are kept until you delete the project.
Why we use it
- To run the Service: your account, machines, access and billing.
- To send you service emails: invitations, machine ready, expiry warnings, receipts, low-balance alerts you turn on, and changes to our terms. We don't send marketing newsletters.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
- To improve the Service, using your feedback and early-access answers.
- To set and improve our prices and catalog, using aggregate usage: for example which GPUs are viewed and launched at which price. This stays in our own systems; we don't use third-party analytics or ad trackers.
We don't sell your personal data or use it for advertising.
We may share data when required by law, or to protect people, the Service or our rights.
How long we keep it
- Account and usage data: while your account is open, and for a limited time afterwards for legal, tax and accounting records.
- Saved tokens: until you remove them or close your account.
- Early-access answers: until you join, ask us to delete them, or the beta ends.
- Machine disks: deleted when the machine stops.
- Project files: until you delete the project or close your account.
Your choices and rights
You can see and change most of your data in the dashboard, remove saved tokens and SSH keys at any time, and ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data by emailing support@computenexa.com. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including to complain to a data-protection authority.
Security
Access to machines is by SSH key only, saved tokens are encrypted, and connections are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects your data, we will tell you.
Children
The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes and contact
We'll update this policy as the Service changes and email you about important changes. Questions or requests: support@computenexa.com. See also the Terms of Service.
